Colasoft MAC Scanner
Colasoft MAC Scanner allows you to scan your network and gather a list of MAC addresses, along with IP address, machine name and manufacturer information (if available). It can automatically detect all subnets according to the IP addresses configured on multiple NICs of a machine. Colasoft MAC Scanner supports multi-threaded scanning and can export the result list to a text file.
SoftPerfect Network Scanner
SoftPerfect Network Scanner is a multi-threaded IP, SNMP and NetBIOS scanner with a modern interface and several advanced features. It is intended for both system administrators and users who are interested in computer security. The program pings computers, scans for listening TCP ports and shows what types of resources are shared on a network (including system and hidden). In addition, it allows you to mount shared resources as network drives, browse them using Windows Explorer, filter the results list and more. SoftPerfect Network Scanner can also check for a user-defined t port and report if it is found open, resolve host names and auto-detect your local IP range.
EMCO Remote Installer SE
EMCO Remote Installer (Starter Edition) enables network administrators to track software installation across networked machines. It retrieves the list of currently installed programs via remote registry access, and keeps track of any changes that occur when a scan is saved. You can compare saved scans and software that has been added or removed can be easily identified. In addition, you can also add custom applications and parameters to the scan.
YAPS
YAPS is short for "Yet Another Port Scanner", and this is exactly what it is. In fact, Yaps is a very basic but small and fast TCP/IP port scanner with little configuration options and a fairly plain interface. You can soecify the IP range as well as the port range to scan and the program will display a list of all open ports found, including details.
MerX .Network Scanner
MerX .Network Scanner is a network file explorer that can scan local and remote shares and search for files and folders (by name or type). It includes a download manager with resume functionality to gather and download files/folders from different locations on the network. Additional features include a network traffic graph and monitor, port scanner, built-in chat client and an offline explorer.
Medieval Bluetooth Network Scanner
Medieval Bluetooth Network Scanner allows you to analyze and scan a local Bluetooth network, and displays a list of detected devices, along with their technical details, including available services, device addresses and more. The list is automatically cached, so that the information can be reviewed, even if the devices are no longer connected to the network.
NetBruteScanner
NetBruteScanner is three security applications in one. NetView scans IP addresses for available Windows File & Print Sharing resources, PortScan scans IP addresses for listening TCP ports, and WebBrute tests user password strength on HTTP Basic Authenticated web sites. Penetration analysis software for system administrators and home users that will run on your Windows workstation.
Advanced IP scanner
Advanced IP Scanner is a fast (multi-thread), robust and easy-to use LAN scanner, that lets you gather various types of information about local network computers. It provides you with access to many useful functions, including remote shutdown and wake up. Results include NetBios username, computer name, group name, and Mac address. IP addresses can be saved in a list as well for later usage.
Advanced Port Scanner
Advanced Port Scanner is a small, fast and easy-to-use port scanner that runs multi-threaded for optimum performance. It provides descriptions for the common ports and can perform scans on predefined port ranges or based on custom port lists. The results are displayed in a graphical format and can be filtered as well.
MSR Strider URL Tracer
MSR Strider URL Tracer is a project from Microsoft Research that enables you to scan a domain name to see the third party domains that it serves content from and/or whether the site is being redirected. I addition, the tool includes a feature that lets you generate a list of common typos based on the domain name and allows you to scan and browse the list of generate names in order to spot domains that capitalize on inadvertent URL misspellings (typo-squatting). The tool was originally developed as a way for parents to spot domains that hijack popular children sites, and often serve adult content or intrusive ads to kids that are mistyping the domain name. It offers a detailed WHOIS lookup as well as an option to block the sites, so they can no longer be accessed with Internet Explorer. Strider URL Tracer can also be very useful for webmasters or site owners that want to track down typo-squatting violations. (Please note that this a research project and should be considered a work in progress)
SuperScan
SuperScan is a powerful TCP port scanner, that includes a variety of additional networking tools like ping, traceroute, HTTP HEAD, WHOIS and more. It uses multi-threaded and asynchronous techniques resulting in extremely fast and versatile scanning. You can perform ping scans and port scans using any IP range or specify a text file to extract addresses from. Other features include TCP SYN scanning, UDP scanning, HTML reports, built-in port description database, Windows host enumeration, banner grabbing and more.
LanSpy
LanSpy is a network security scanner, that allows you to gather information about machines on the network. This includes Domain and NetBios names, MAC address, Server information, Domain and Domain controller information, Remote control, Time, Discs, Transports, Users, Global and local users groups, Policy settings, Shared resources, Sessions, Open files, Services, Registry and Event log information (Administrative access is required to gather all information). In addition, the program runs a port scan, using a customizable list of TCP/UDP ports and returns header information from web servers.
WotWeb
WotWeb is a cut-down port scanner specifically made to scan for and display active web servers and shows the server software running on them. IP lists can be entered manually or by reading from a file. Scanning is fast and accurate and the acquired list of servers can be saved to a comma separated text file for importing into your favorite spreadsheet application for further analysis. WotWeb was written to aid system administrators who manage large networks and need to keep track of all their web servers and the type of server software that is running on them - a time consuming and laborious task, often achieved by writing complex custom scripts coupled with command line scanning tools.
Angry IP Scanner
Angry IP scanner is a very fast and small IP scanner. It pings each IP address to check if it`s alive, then optionally it is resolving hostname and tries to connect at specified in Options dialog box TCP port. The program uses separate threads for each scanned address to reduce scanning speed. It can also display NetBIOS information: computer name, workgroup, currently logged user and MAC address.
LanDiscovery
LanDiscovery is a small utility that lets you browse the local network. It will quickly enumerate all available network machines and list them with their shares, including share names and comments. You can click on any of the shares to open it in Windows Explorer (provided that you have the proper access rights).
NetworkActiv Scanner
NetworkActiv Scanner is an advanced network scanner with many useful features. TCP connect, TCP SYN, UDP and sub-net scanning with auto-speed control and reliable results. It also offers high speed ping scanning of sub-nets (UDP or ICMP), TCP sub-net scanning, integrated trace-route, remote OS detection and more. The program provides an optional Wizard Mode for step-by-step network scanning, trace-route and much more. Additional features include a built-in WHOIS client, DNS Dig system, host responses, Simple Port Scan Mode, random order port scanning and more.
SNScan
SNScan is a SNMP detection utility that can quickly and accurately identify SNMP enabled devices on a network. This utility can effectively indicate devices that are potentially vulnerable to SNMP related security threats. The program allows for the scanning of SNMP specific ports (e.g. UDP 161, 193, 391 and 1993) and the use of standard (i.e. "public") and non-standard (i.e. user-defined) SNMP community names. User defined community names may be used to more effectively evaluate the presence of SNMP enabled devices in more complex networks. SNScan is intended for use by system and network administrators as a fast and reliable utility for information gathering. While not indicating whether SNMP enabled devices are vulnerable to specific threats, SNScan can quickly and accurately identify potential areas of exposure to SNMP related vulnerabilities.
