SpreadMsg Lite is the FREE version of Compuquest, Inc's award-winning SpreadMsg software. It provides automated rule-based messaging to alpha pagers, digital cellular and GSM phones, PDA's, or email. The Lite version features an Email scanning agent that searches the user's email waiting at their ISP, examining it for user-specified content, for mail from a specific person, for mail containing specific words in the "subject", etc. If the user rules are satisfied, the wireless (or email) message is created and delivered. Also provided is a sampling of other SpreadMsg software features available in the other registered versions of the software. In those features, Message Data is captured in real time from computer files, internet pages, spreadsheet data, other applications running on the user's PC, or live streaming financial data containing stock, option, index, futures, and currency data from the Quote.Com QFeed datafeed. Again, user rules and filters are applied, and Sprea! dMsg turns the captured data into e-mail or wireless messages. You can trigger message delivery based on rules such as any change in data value, data above or below a specific numeric level or range, textual content match, periodic time interval, and more

PopMonger is a small, standalone tool to assist you with mailing list management. It runs in the background and checks your POP mailbox for delivery failures and requests to unsubscribe for your mailing list. When it finds a matching message, it appends the email address to a separate list and then optionally the message from your box. You can customize the trigger terms to match your criteria (e.g remove, unsubscribe, etc.). Using PopMonger, you can automatically collect unsubscribe requests and extract them to a list file for further processing. The free version is limited to a single mailbox.

X-Ray Mail Assistant is a powerful mail processor that can filter, add, change or replace headers in incoming and/or outgoing email messages. It works with a set of user-defined rules that allow you to define the header values to be processed, and also perform additional actions like extracting headers to a text file, or importing headers from a file. The program is very flexible, and also includes options to use variables to create dynamic header content and more. In addition, X-Ray Mail Assistant can also auto-switch between SMTP servers, and allows you to setup multiple profiles for POP and SMTP servers and switch between them from the system tray. X-Ray Mail Assistant runs as a local POP/SMTP proxy. The documentation is rather poor, and this software should only be considered by users that are familiar with POP/SMTP functionalities.
