• Nov-7, 2008 - An article "Putting Plasmons Through Their Paces" by Yvonne Carts-Powell about our work on linear periodic chains of spheroidal particles just got published in Scatterings of Optics and Photonics News. A pdf of this single page overview can be found here or in Press Release section of CV.
• Oct-22, 2008 - Our article on "Enhancement of dispersion modulation in nanoscale waveguides" has been published in JOSA B Forthcomings. The reference in CV will be updated as soon as the issue gets in press.
• Sep-29 2008 - New press release about our work on nano-chains has come out. Unfortunately, the final version was not confirmed with us. I apologize for some nonsence. The proper Author's version can be found here.
• Jul-12 2008 - Our detailed study of linear chains of spheroidal particles was published in PRB this month and recently has been selected for the July 14, 2008 issue of Virtual Journal of Nanoscale Science & Technology.

• Nov-18, 2007 - Our APL on the sign of the refractive index in active metamaterials has been selected for the November 19, 2007 issue of Virtual Journal of Nanoscale Science & Technology.
• Nov-09, 2007 - Long live the dispersionless NIMs! Our paper with the universal formalism to the sign of the refractive index of both active and passive metamaterials just got published in App. Phys. Lett. You can find it in my publications.
• Oct-28, 2007 - Welcome to my new web site. Starting Oct 1st I am a Post Doc in Physical Optics, Imaging and Inverse Problems Group at UPenn Bioengineering.
• Jul 2007 - Our new detailed study of the mode formation in layered metal-dielectric structures has been published in the special issue of the journal of nanomaterials. See list of publilcation for pdf-file.
• Apr 27, 2007 - Our new paper presenting formalism to derive the sign of the refractive index in active metamaterials is on arXiv now. It also discusses dispersionless-index and dispersionless-impedance in NIMs. The link to pdf will soon be available in Publications section of my CV.
• Apr 05, 2007 - I am giving an invited talk on APS NW section meeting in Pocatello, Idaho. The topic is "Controlling Light at the Nanoscale". Joining the NW section is free!
• Feb 07, 2007 - An excellent article about our research has been released at Laser Focus World. The link is here.
• Dec 31, 2006 - New article about "Gain-assisted slow to superluminal group velocity management in nano-waveguides" got into local newspapers: "Democrat Herald" and "Gazette Times". See two last entries in Press ReleasesDec 05, 2006 - Our group got into KEZI 9 local news. See avi in Press Releases

• Dec 2006 - "Gain-assisted slow to superluminal group velocity management in nano-waveguides" has just came out in the Dec 1st issue of Phys. Rev. Lett.
• Dec 18, 2006 - My CV page is remodeled: added some content and dynamic html effects
• Oct 2006 - The manuscript on the detailed study of waves in anisotropic sub-diffraction fibers (the physics underlying Photonic Funnels) is finally published in the Journal of  Modern Optics.
• Sep 2006 - It's nice to see your own name in the web: DLS just published names of 5 winners of the travel grant at QELS in the September newsletter.
