| Glad You Could Make It!

Welcome to RPGMP3, a site which occurred more through happy accident than intent, that has been podcasting "actual play" tabletop RPGs to net for years now. We like to think we were the first to do it in any organised way - we were certainly the first to do it via podcast. There is a massive amount of audio on this site for you to enjoy, many of them are unscripted and generally unedited recordings of tabletop roleplaying sessions. We hope you find something that you enjoy - we certainly enjoy recording the stuff for you all!
If you are looking to waste a good few days of your life following a rabid adventure then you could do worse than subscribing to the RPGMP3 EPICS Podcast below and listening to all 40 sessions of AEG's World's Largest Dungeon.
Please be aware that anything on this site that might get us sued is intended as either parody or review (whatever gets us out of trouble :P ).
If you haven't done so already, please join the site.
And don't forget to visit the RPGMP3 Forums

Cheers
Hal

Labour of Love / Tomb of Haggemoth: The Files

The new adventure begins - this time it is homebrew fever from the depth of my own mind leading up to an excellent adventure inspired by the World's Largest Dungeon recordings - Tomb of Haggemoth. A new group of players face the challenge of an audio game made up by a twisted DM before they make it to the safe embrace of something that has made it to print! How will they do? Who knows? What we do know is that these recordings are in BINAURAL SURROUND SOUND for your listening pleasure - so get your headphones on!

This game marks the beginning of a new podcast feed on the site - RPGMP3 EPICS Podcast which is a modified version of the old WLD feed so if you are already subscribed to that then you should be getting some shiny goodness coming your way pretty shortly! http://www.rpgmp3.com/downloads/data/wld/rss.xml

The Sunless Citadel: The Files

Just before Lindsay and I came over to America we recorded our last game in the UK. The intention was to use it to bridge the gap between us leaving and finding a gaming group, but as we found a group so quickly I am going to release this to the site now. I decided that I wanted to return to the start and run Dungeons and Dragons first published adventure - hope you like it.
Choose a Sunless Citadel Session And Click Download To Get It:
I do not currently have the character stat blocks for this game as they are still in the shipping coming over from the UK! When I get them I will post them!
I have tagged these files onto the end of The Banewarrens podcast to make it easier for those of you who already have that subscribed - http://www.rpgmp3.com/downloads/data/bw/bwpodcast.xml |

| RPGMP3 - A Little History |
| It was a happy accident really. Something that really should not have been. It all started with a microphone being tested at a game of Return To The Temple Of Elemental Evil way back in January 2003. The file was added to Yog-sothoth.com and received a good amount of attention which resulted in the idea to actually see if we could get a site off the ground that could host a few gaming audio recordings.
We had gotten feedback from all kinds of people stating that they had lost touch with gaming but this made them feel involved again. Or that they had always wondered if everyone played the same and they were surprised at the similarities.
On my birthday (September 15th) of 2004 we began the site in earnest and the first session of AEG's World's Largest Dungeon was released. This would run for 40 sessions and would lead to a rampant following for the characters and the players alike.
The first few episodes were just down loadable from the site but we were soon to discover the joys of podcasting (something that was also in it's early stages). RPGMP3 was the first gaming related site to release a podcast (as far as we know) and it was one of the first podcasts to be picked up by iTunes when it finally cottoned on the phenomenon.
Over the years things have changed. Regular voices and come and gone and Hal and Lindsay (the site owners) have moved the Texas from the UK but this just propelled the site to bigger and better things as it now has at least 5 seperate groups contributing audio from all over the world.
It is not always mainstream - there is a strong indie games undercurrent on the site as well. With the Community and EPICs podcast going strong and the vibrant forum community RPGMP3 has become one of the little gaming gems hidden away in the backwaters of the net.
While not blogging in the purest sense the site provides regular audio updates via it's podcasts which amount to in depth reviews of all kinds of gaming systems from Dungeons and Dragons 4e to My Life With Master; Truth and Justice to Dogs in the Vineyard; Rolemaster to Trinity (Aeon).
Why not stop all this reading and let your ears and your laughing gear do some work for a change.

| Thunderspire Labyrinth Session 3 |
| Sorry for the delay folks - my computer crapped out, we had Steve visiting from the UK and I was drowning in work.
I promise regular release over the next couple of days to catch up on what I have fallen behind with so keep and eye out for things.
Thunderspire Labyrinth Session 3
Filesize: 88MB
The party return to the Seven Pillared Hall and attempt to negotiate with some demon tainted dwarves for the location of the Horned Hold where the slaves have been sent only to receive a cold reception. Then all kinds of crazy things happen and the whole party ends up facing a rather sticky death.
I love it when the plot derails in spectacular fashion.

| Thunderspire Labyrinth Session 1 (DnD 4e Session 12) |
| Apologies for the drought of releases I have been recovering from the storm we had here in Houston. Still waiting for some guy to come along and say it is OK to get someone to come and fix the roof and the other stuff that was damaged.
On top of that due to curfews and damage I am 2 weeks behind with my course so I have had 3 weeks of work to complete in a single week.
Anyway, things are settling back down to some sense of normality now so I am starting to release things again.
Without further ado...
Thunderspire Labyrinth Session 1

Keep on the Shadowfell Session 11

The party assault the Temple of Orcus and finally face the evil priest Kalarel on his home turf.
Some really nice use of "out-of-the-box" thinking in combat here. Also I had the players do character questionnaires before this session and there are haiku at the end.
we are continuing onto Thunderspire so let us know what you think.

As ever knob gags and juvenile humour abound.
