It was odd, in the original Mass Effect, traversing the galaxy at the speed of light via the SSV Normandy and the Mass Relay network and then ending up on uncharted planets in the 1970's Sci-Fi inspired Mako, a clunky six-wheeled vehicle about as high-tech as a dump truck.
