"Company is criminal, product is fine"
Pros: Good product, helps keep your machine running clean.
Cons: Company charged me for a renewal without my permission! They not only didn't have my permission, i explicitly forbade them to charge me for a renewal and even un-registered my product. What a bunch of criminals!
Summary: Companies that auto-renew suck. Sorry to sound like a nut-job but as you can tell, I'm kind of angry after being the victim of theft from these guys.

"Is this the same as Dell PC Tune-up2? Be careful if so."
Pros: Difficult to tell.
Cons: To many features, overwhelming. It has a registry cleaner, I do not trust them. Unable to perform maintenance on scheduled basis.
Summary: I had DEll PC Tune2 from IOLO Technologies, if this is the same program as System mechanic I will be careful about it. As I mentioned on the cons it has so many features which make it overwelming and confusing. You do not know what you should do fir... read more >>

Pros: multitask and lets you see problem before fixing if want to on right side of message
Cons: requires reboot and if you do not remove disk goes to disc medic and caused me to freeze up on vista and xp. use onoff to start over and removed disc. this is a feature to fix none booting comp so remove on install to avoid
Summary: has alot of features and does find things not found in free software I was using. Like memory and vulnerabilities in system it patched. not tried av or firewall yet in pro version.
