Publisher's description of MediaMan 2.2
From He Shiming:MediaMan let you create and organize your own media catalog for free. MediaMan is capable of managing all kinds of media in your collection, including books, DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes, software and game titles. Import items to your collection by downloading information from Amazon United States, Germany, Great Britain, and Japan. Use the webcam barcode scanner to make the process even faster. Item status management let you keep an eye on the lent items, and never pay extra for the rented ones. All items can be divided and re-divided into nested categories according to your wish. And finally, the collection can be exported for printing or synchronizing with your PDAs.
Version 2.2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Version: MediaMan 2.2
Pros: It is a terrific home media inventory program that does all the work for you when searching info on anything, like cds, dvds, video games, vhs, etc...
Looks attractive enough and takes up about 5mb of space...
Hey, c'mon: it's FREE!
Cons: Minor quibble being that it only uses the Amazon.com worldwide sites for searching its' info + customer reviews...I wish it had other places to use, such as IMdb. Be that as it may, you can always EDIT or DELETE any of the retrieved info and insert your own (including images), so again it's only a small con from me.

"Wonderful program to do a quick catalog of your disks."
Pros: Quick and easy to find all the data that is needed to make a comprehensive catalog of movies, software, and music. Media Man finds a match more than 90% of the time.
Cons: Media Man v1.6 had a 100% failure rate when using ISBN numbers or the UPC number read from a music/dvd disk.
It would be nice if there was a more useable export feature, such as only export selected items and exporting them as *.cvs with links to the photos instead of only exporting the library statistics as *.cvs files.

"this is an easy product to use as well as a great way to manage all of your medi"
Pros: This product helps you to keep track of all of your media (books, cd's, dvd's, etc). It allows you easily update, maintain and save you collections and helps you to keep all your information updated.
Cons: Should you use the web cam scanning function, be sure you are using a web cam that gives you the clearest viewing available in order to get the accurate scanning, so that the program can scan accurately.
