"Great progeam for math teachers, engineer"
Pros: This program is great to be able to use all kinds of math symbols.
Cons: It would be nice if I could controll the spacing more.

"Use it every day -- can't live without it!"
Pros: MathType is a great time-saver, and my papers look like they came from a professional publisher. I like being able to save my common equations and equation building blocks on the toolbar so I can get to them quickly later.
Cons: No complaints really. It would be nice to have background highlighting so I could build Algebra Tiles inside a matrix, but that's no big deal. It does everything else I need it to.
Summary: If I spend an hour creating a test with Word & MathType, it would take me two hours without MathType. Besides that, it wouldn't look nearly as good. The bad thing about using MathType? Other teachers in my department want to use my tests for the... read more >>
