Publisher's description of MSN Messenger (Windows 98/Me)

MSN Messenger is an instant-messaging program that notifies you when your friends are online so you can send messages or chat with several friends at once. In addition, MSN Messenger notifies you when you have new e-mail in your Hotmail account and allows you to access your inbox with the click of a button. You have full control over who can contact you and view whether you are online. At any time, you can see a list of all users who have added you to their lists, and you can easily block them if you choose to do so. You can also invite someone in your list to meet over the Internet or to play an Internet game using NetMeeting. The program will even notify you when someone you are communicating with is typing so you can avoid overlapping messages. MSN Messenger also offers integration with Outlook Express 5.0.
You can visit chat rooms and join in, arrange your contacts into groups, select emoticons from a drop-down list, and get quick access to all of MSN Messenger's features with a single click.

Version: MSN Messenger (Windows 98/Me) 7.0
Pros: I don't use all the bells and whistles, but the basic chat functionality works fine for me. Very reliable too, perhaps more so than AOL.

Version: MSN Messenger (Windows 98/Me) 7.0
"Attractive Instant Messenger"
Pros: There have been some changes to V.7 of MSN messenger. Some good, some bad. First of its still attractive, secondly its easy to use, add contacts and manage your groups.
Cons: Bad points i don't like the way my contacts are shown, why they changed this i don't know (Maybe you can edit this?).
Also it may take time to load, my friend was complaining his took a long time to load up.Still good though!

Version: MSN Messenger (Windows 98/Me) 7.0
Pros: MSN messenger, ok, it is very popular! And has a sleek-ish interface, It is easy to send e-mails, check your hotmail e-mails, send files, add contacts, have webcam/audio conversations, and the inclusion to choose your own background...
Cons: But it is riddled with faults! It crashes alot, asking you to send "an error report" (which probably goes straight to Bill Gates' recycle bin) There are no skins to edit the main interface and file - sending is extremely slow! Ads are around every corner (Ads on the main interface, ads when loading a webcam conversation etc.) And sometimes the blocking feature doesn't work, which is essential!
I do recommend this download, but only just.
