Libra is a beautiful library software to manage your Books, Music, Movies and Games. You can track items you have lent out, or tag them with meaningful terms to organize them effectively. Libra can import your items from other applications, or scan them from either your webcam or any barcode scanner (including CueCat). Once you have built your collection, you can print out beautiful catalog pages of all your items.
Version 0.9.2 improves custom item information editing.

"really good library software"
Pros: option of view/style types for your library; love the reflective look on the shelf...
you can resize (view) the entire library to your liking...
you can change the image and/or description to your liking...
Cons: for a printed inventory, it is only the pictures; no choice for only titles, description, etc....
searches only amazon.com (here and worldwide)...

"This is a Spyware Program and a very Good one !"
Pros: CON dont down load it
unless you want all you piture on the internet
or some one looking over you back every minuite of the Day
its 100 % Con
Cons: with this program i can easy take over you system
find out what your looking at
what you have done
next thing you know the cops are at your door
or hackers are take your money out of you acount
this program should not even be on cnet
BUT ! your not going to belive so down load the thing and your see in time whos
RIGHT !

Version: Libra 0.9.2
Pros: Used it to start catalogueing my music CD collection. Using the webcam to scan barcodes works as advertised. It looks absolutely beautiful but does have a few quirks.
Cons: Program is limited to the Amazon database and does not support net search, nor does it read inserted cd's. It doesn't always pick-up the cover pic and when it does, the quality is sometimes poor. It also does not pick-up the tracks and when typing them in manually I found the space limited. This is also the second update in as many weeks so I assume it is still a work in progress. I also haven't been able to figure out yet how to print reports.

"The best storage for personal entertainment items"
Pros: love the display of your items. the easiest storage system to use I have ever found. and i love that it gives you the option to manual entries if libra can't find it for you. And to think it's FREE!!!

Pros: You can export the data and use in Excel, Access, Filemaker, XML, etc. It works perfectly with my $9 eBay barcode scanner.
Cons: People who swear this is clever spyware...I've run it through 3 virus programmes (NOD32, Norton, McAfee) with no problems...run Rootkit Revealer after install and found NOTHING!
