From BitComet:

BitComet is a fast and easy-to-use BitTorrent/HTTP/FTP download client. It is P2P file-sharing freeware and one of the most popular P2P protocols designed for high-speed distribution. BitComet supports simultaneous downloads, DHT networks (trackerless), a download queue, selected downloads in the Torrent package, fast-resume, disk caching, speed limits, auto port mapping, proxies, and IP filtering. Version 1.01 allows to download video from video sites like YouTube through the Firefox extension, and improves preview.

Note:This software comes with Google toolbar, that can be installed or uninstalled at the user's choice.

This free P2P application lets you find and download files using a unique system. On the left side of the three-pane interface, you choose from a long list of Web pages that contain files you can download. Different sites offer different types of files, and the subject matter is usually apparent by the name. When you opt to download a file, a smaller file appears on your desktop, which you then open in BitComet. After a bit of a wait, the application aggregates users that have your requested file and starts a swarm download that gradually grows in sources and speed. We like the enormous variety of files available for download, but aside from paging through categories, there are not many ways to search for specific files. Still, the addition of a preview function helps. The BitComet client offers chat capabilities, stats trackers, and the ability to bookmark your favorite sites. Overall, we think BitComet and the BitTorrent system are a great alternative to most file-sharing apps, and the fact that this download is free sure doesn't hurt.

  "Puts */Wire, Morph he ass and similar to shame."

  Pros: Fast, Fast, Fast. Lots of options. At least 5X faster. I'm getting 10X on the average than Limewire or Frostwire on single feeds. Much less of a memory and CPU hogger too.

  Cons: ADS/Banners. A bit confusing/tricky at first. Why are addons not included in original download? Still has the naughty and virus files to watch out for. Apart from these minor things, nothing really bad as yet. Early days tho.

  "Great! Version 1.01 has "anti-leech filter"..."

  Pros: A "leech" is a peer which downloads a lot of data but it does not upload anything. When you enable "Anti-Leech filter", connections which transfer little data during a long time will be disconnected.

  Cons: There is a little of advertisement.

  Pros: Bottom line is that it's faster and more stable than the others - uTorrent, Azureus, etc.

  Cons: I do get occasional crashes but they are infrequent.
