Version: TurboTax Basic 2005
"Makes doing your own taxes easy"
Pros: Even if you have never done your own tax return in your lifetime you can do it your self with Turbo Tax. I used it last year for the first time, instead of H&R Block, and Turbo Tax gave me a much larger refund. It guided me through the return, step by step, and I didn't even need a pencil or paper! I don't want to sound like a comercial for Turbo Tax, but I just can't recommend it highly enough. Plus you file electronicly and get your refund at least 5 times faster than mailing it. Turbo Tax gets 5 stars and two thumbs way up!

"Taxes are often where people have trouble but this programs makes taxes easy!"
Pros: Works well and is the best program for doing taxes. This is the only program I'd recommend on CNET and share my tax information with.
Cons: Sometime the program lags and could use a few security enhancements but it by far still the best! Make sure to backup your taxes/data.

"Federal tax calculations only"
Pros: this program was very user friendly. it also had a decent help section to understand different tax forms, and will let you file multiple W2's. I know someone with the full version, and they loved the simplicity of it and the submission by e-file...
Cons: no limitations? it only lets you calculate your federal tax return, promps you to buy the full version when you try to calculate your state return. E-filing is only available with the full version. it also has an option to save your file as a PDF to be viewed outside of the program, but prompts you to buy the full version when you actually try to save it...

Pros: Easy to use
Cons: It says there are "no limitations". In reality the program does not let you print or e-file without buying it first. It lets you know that you have to pay only after you are ready to submit your return.

Pros: Installation is quick, easy to understand.
Cons: It's kind of confusing sometimes. It asks me the same questions when I jump around.
