Version: Avidemux 2.4.1 R4297
"Extraordinary conversions with simple quick edits!"
Pros: I have performed numerous simple quick frame-by-frame edits (something I cannot do quickly in Final Cut nor frame-by-frame in Quicktime pro. I have no trouble converting avi to Quicktime (.mov & .mp4) --rare amoung converters (but get "lame" codec!)
Cons: Learning required smart trial and error -- use a very small file to do this as it is much less time consuming. Conversion process is not lightening fast -- about 4 minutes for a 20 minute vid -- but still very acceptable.
Summary: I would have paid $50 for this product. I have found nothing remotely as good. read more

Pros: Editing features work very nice.
Cons: Had difficulty saving video file and playing audio.

"its pretty cool you can do allsorts"
Pros: quite alot no fuss pretty simple to use
Cons: only one dislike when i coverted my video i edited on this it didnt playback properly i need to update me cpu i think lol

Pros: well I always needed a sofwere to cut my downloaded movies films or clips with advertisement. or different problems ..Avidemux maked those dreams come true in just a blink of an eye!!
Cons: Well is free and need more donations , to make a more beatyful looking interface, I think that is all the rest is perfection
Summary: I dont dislike this sofwere, on the contrary, I do love it works perfect does thing that I want and I need ...what else may I ask for? read more

"Limited conversion codec work good for Video--NO AUDIO"
Pros: Simple and work well in conversion
Cons: Whilst it work well with video, the converted output has got no audio. Bug fix is necessary to make it a complete software.
Summary: I trial the software and I like the simple and straightforward interface, it works fast and convert well for video. Unfortunately the output files has got no audio. It hasn't include most if not all the popular conversion codecs. There is no help fi... read more
