Some of the new features for the client include:
- Software compression, which will make many of the downloaded file smaller, thus reducing download time and bandwidth cost.
- 3 different methods to fetch the content.
- Improved logging including a detailed error log as well as a stats log.
- The ability to limit the amount of bandwidth the client uses while it downloads the content.
- Improved documentation.
- Released under the GPL license.
