Editor's review

Musically, you can't dream this stuff up. These extremely talented musicians take you on an experimental ride through electro-acoustical territories, at times with a moody/chill vibe and at others with a nightmarish experimental style. Middle-Eastern melodies, breakbeats, eerie ambient textures, and strange sampled voices (public domain of course) all find their way into the amalgamation.

Biography

"Packed full of deep breakbeats and euphoric Ambient textures with dense webs of acoustic and electronic samples, Cleveland's Xylox dish out double helpings of expertly engineered methodical madness. Subtle Ambient Breakbeat tracks kick off with oceans of distorted guitar, stepping back to accommodate amphibian bass lines that glide below oncoming shards of trumpet, saxophone, and Middle Eastern strings. Add to this an uncanny sense of timing and a sound rounded out with funky, atmospheric Drum 'n'Bass and you have intricate, explosive, genre-bending stuff." --Noah Enelow, Listen.com.
