His posting of the note and stuff was a cry for help. I can't believe we are turning out such heartless idiots in America that would watch this and not try to call some authorities for help! And then to LOL etc. What if it were your family member? I don't blame his family for being upset that this was watched by a lot of people for many hours and no one had the smarts to call to get the young man help!
